Trionic 8 ECU

Usually, we are always happy about new customers. However, it always has been our main goal to provide enthusiasts a possibility to maintain their vehicles for as low cost as possible and so keep their cars on the road. One of the most common issues we encounter are failing Trionic 8 ECUs.Many people ahead of us already recorgnized the subpar position of the ECU.Therefore, there are already products available on the market.However, prices for these range well beyond 100€, come with long shipment times and partially consist of unrecyclable materials like bakelite.Due to this we decided to create a cheaper and more environmentally friendly solution.Our first version consisted out of HDPE (High Density Polyethylen), which already offered high protection from heat radiation.However, driven by our constant demand of high quality products, we developed a new version together with our customers.The 2nd version therefore, consists of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene; also known under its brand name Teflon™) and offers a much wider temperature resistance (-200 to +260°C),while also reducing the thermal conductivity from 0,38W/mK to 0,23W/mK.Instead of the reflective tape used in previous versions, we decided to utilize SILCAWOOL 120, which provides a thermal conductivity as low as 0,04-0,05W/mK at temperatures up to 200°C.You can therefore, rely on a high quality precision product and optimal protective properties.Content:- 1x Heat shield out of PTFE (back taped with SILCAWOOL 120P)- 1x Ground cable- 2x 20mm spacers- 3x M6x16 bolts- 1x M6x18 bolts- 4x Silentbloc bearings100% Made in Germany.UK buyers please click here.
