Function of injectors
That the injectors inject fuel should be clear.
But is it really that bad when they are a little dirty?
In order to answer this question, we first have to understand how an engine works in the first place.

The four strokes of the engine
The strokes are the following work steps.
1. Intake
2. Compress
3. Power
4. Exhaust
These four cycles are a prerequisite for smooth engine operation. Accordingly, you need fuel, ignition, compression and air.

Knocking
But what if one of these components is out of line?
While the effects can be felt differently, the result is often the same.
So-called engine knocking occurs.
This is a second, spontaneous ignition of the fuel mixture, which leads to pressure peaks. Serious damage to pistons, bearings, valves, and spark plugs can be the result.
What you can do
Be alert
Drivers with trained ears will be able to hear the knocking. If you cannot perceive this, you can often use standard diagnostic software to check whether knocking has been registered.
Modern vehicles are able to register the knocking and independently take countermeasures to protect the engine from damage. However, the regulation is limited, which can lead to damage, especially under special climatic conditions or high loads.
Regular maintenance
Although this should go without saying, we would like to explicitly point out again at this point - maintenance is the be-all and end-all! Engine knock can depend on many parameters, which you can check in the course of a regular inspection.
The spark plug image in particular can easily show how the engine performs. Very bright electrodes indicate a mixture that is too lean, while dark or black electrodes indicate a mixture that is too rich.
Professional injector cleaning
A wide variety of deposits form in the injectors over time. A large part can be removed with the help of special cleaning additives, but the holes in the injectors are so fine that only professional cleaning can help.
Cleaning can bring back performance, especially in older vehicles. In any case, drivers of highly motorized vehicles should clean the entire fuel system at regular intervals.
What we can do for you
We offer you the cleaning and testing of four injectors for as little as 89,99€.
This price includes:
- Initial measurement
- External cleaning
- Cleaning with control in the ultrasonic bath
- Pressure loss test
- Dynamic test (idling, part and full load, as well as acceleration)
- Reverse flushing
- Final examination
- Protocol(optionally with video recording)
You will get your injectors back within 24 hours.
